About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and customer-focused Optometrist cum Sales Consultant to join a Luxury Optical Store in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in clinical optometry along with a strong sales acumen, gained from working with renowned retail or optical brands. This dual-role position requires both clinical expertise in vision care and the ability to assist customers in selecting premium eyewear products that match their lifestyle and prescription needs.


Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate and comprehensive refraction tests and eye examinations using advanced equipment.

  • Diagnose and provide recommendations for visual correction, ensuring clinical excellence and customer trust.

  • Maintain detailed patient records and follow clinical protocols with a high degree of professionalism.

  • Educate customers on eye health, lens technology, and product benefits.

Sales & Customer Engagement:

  • Assist customers in selecting high-end frames, lenses, and sunglasses based on prescription, facial features, and lifestyle preferences.

  • Drive retail sales by offering tailored recommendations, product demonstrations, and upselling premium eyewear solutions.

  • Deliver a personalized luxury experience that aligns with the store’s premium positioning.

  • Maintain product knowledge of global eyewear brands and the latest optical innovations.

Store Support & Operations:

  • Collaborate with the sales and store management team to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Participate in inventory checks, merchandising, and store maintenance as required.

  • Attend regular training sessions to stay updated with the latest industry practices and technologies.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry from a recognized institution.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in optical retail, with combined exposure to clinical optometry and sales.

    • Prior experience working with premium or luxury retail brands is highly desirable.

  • Skills & Attributes:
