About the Role:

 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead a Luxury Optical Store in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail store management, specifically in the optical or luxury retail industry, with a proven track record of driving sales, managing high-performance teams, and ensuring a premium customer experience. This individual will be responsible for the end-to-end operations of the outlet, aligning with the brand’s commitment to excellence and personalized service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Operations Management:

    • Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth, efficient functioning of all departments.

    • Maintain visual merchandising and store aesthetics in line with brand standards.

    • Ensure adherence to all SOPs, operational processes, and health & safety guidelines.

  • Sales & Business Development:

    • Drive store sales and achieve/exceed monthly revenue targets.

    • Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to improve performance.

    • Develop local marketing initiatives and community engagement to boost footfall.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service.

    • Plan and conduct regular training for team members on product knowledge, customer handling, and operational excellence.

    • Create a positive and goal-driven store culture.

  • Customer Experience:

    • Deliver a personalized and luxurious customer journey, from consultation to post-sales follow-up.

    • Handle high-profile clients and customer escalations with professionalism and care.

    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat clientele.

  • Inventory & Vendor Management:

    • Monitor stock levels, place orders timely, and manage vendor relationships.

    • Conduct regular audits to prevent shrinkage and maintain accurate inventory.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educational Background:

    • Degree in Optometry or a Management degree in Sales/Retail Management.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Optical Retail, with at least 2+ years in a Store Manager role for a renowned retail or luxury brand.

    • Strong understanding of optical products, lenses, and customer consultation processes.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Proven leadership and team management abilities.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
